Acne can affect skin at any age from adolescence to adulthood. It is usually characterized by clogged pores that lead to the formation of pimples, whiteheads, and blackheads. Acne can be caused by hormonal changes or factors such as pollution, stress or an unbalanced diet. Traditional treatments like Accutane and antibiotics are toxic to the system and do not provide a long-term solution.
